Our Research Focus: Understanding AI Agents as Systems and Behaviors

AI agents are more than just tools — they could help us explore human behavior, creativity, and the future of collaboration. This is what we believe at Savalera.

AI agents are typically defined as autonomous, adaptable, goal-oriented, and collaborative systems—capable of operating independently, learning from experience, and interacting with both humans and other agents. At Savalera, we see agents a bit differently.

While all of this is true, we believe it is just as important to study agent behavior as we do human behavior and cognitive science.

Much of AI behavior is difficult to predict or control. We believe we can gain deeper insights by studying these behaviors as emergent properties of the underlying agent architectures.

We have established our own agent research lab with this exact purpose. Our approach is pragmatic and grounded, with a focus on ethics, safety, and the characterization of agent personality traits, reasoning, logic, and decision-making—all on a measurable, descriptive basis.

We also plan to take this a step further. By studying artificial neural networks, we aim to derive insights—or at least refine the right questions—about human social behavior, particularly in areas such as leadership and followership, creativity, dreaming, conditioning, and trauma.

We recognize that these fields require deeper exploration, and we are committed to contributing to this research—leveraging artificial intelligence to improve human life.

With this in mind, we are launching the Savalera Agentic Lab, starting with a focus on agent behavior and gradually expanding toward broader insights into human cognition.
